Founded by Minosuke Masamoto in 1872. With over 130 years of quality kitchen knife making history, the Masamoto knife has become one of the finest kitchen knife makers in Japan.

Kasumi knives have a Shirosanko (White) high-carbon steel core forging welded with a soft iron. The finishing is done both by hand and automated processes. The thin sharp-edged blade excels at delicate tasks.
